What data we process

• Vehicle details (brand, model, year, mileage, condition, battery condition)
• Photos and documents you upload, for example the right-hand side of the vehicle registration document
• Contact details (name, phone, email, postcode and town)
• For a purchase: ID details and bank details
• Technical data when you visit the website (IP address, time, page visited)

Purpose

We use the details to prepare an offer for you, arrange an appointment and handle any purchase. We do not pass your data on to dealer platforms or for advertising.

Retention

We delete requests without a purchase after 90 days. Documents relating to completed purchases are kept for the statutory periods.

Hosting and server logs

The website is operated at Cloudflare. When you visit, technically necessary data is briefly stored in server logs. This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and loads no fonts or scripts from third parties.

Transmission of requests

Details and uploaded files from the forms are transmitted in encrypted form, stored in protected storage at Cloudflare and forwarded to ElektroDeal by email. For sending the email we use an external service provider.

Disclosure abroad

Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the USA. Data may therefore be transmitted to the USA and to other countries. Where necessary, we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Links to Google Maps or WhatsApp open services of third parties. Data is only transmitted to these providers once you click.

Your rights

You can request information about your data at any time and have it corrected or deleted. An email is enough: info@elektrodeal.ch
